Got her from a litter of strays our neighbors found. I was 2 1/2, and named her myself after the bush. Lived for 18 years. Was the best (or worst…) huntress I have ever known, once killed an entire yard of squirrels and chipmunks one day. Her favorite food was shrimp.

Got his name when we had to go repeatedly to the Humane Society to find just the right dog. My dad said, “Better late than never!” (BLTN).
