Damn bird is a menace to avian familyhood!
So, when the young hawk’s fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love - is it going to look for another hawk, or did he imprint on eagles? There’s going to be a real ‘small man’ complex (assuming it’s male) going on there . . .

For some reason this reminded me of an old Sniffles cartoon, wherein he adopts a baby hawk only to find out that it’s primarily a mouse eater.
I thought of Foghorn Leghorn setting the baby hawk onto the farm dog.

Well he’s now “branching” so he can safely get out of the way of his sibling’s enormous wings!
