Bali bomber thanks anti-war protesters

Protestors claim that they’re against war, but they’re also against terrorism. Too bad the terrorists don’t understand the subtlety of their position.

The terrorist who helped mix the deadly one-tonne Bali nightclub bomb that killed 202 people, Sawad, alias Sardjiyo, said

So, anti-war protestors encouraged this carnage. I’m sure they had no such intention, but good intentions won’t bring the 202 victims back to life.

Well terrorists arent the most sane people around for the most part. Its just another way to get more attention from the media.

Hmmm, cite please. I would hate to find out that this was some form of right wing propaganda.

It’s a shame we protestors can’t also use our mind-control [sub]1920’s style death[/sub] rays to compel you to stop acting like such a dipshit.

Hey, don’t sell him short, I’m sure with some creative thinking, we can get something positive going here. Apparently the claim is that War protesters should refrain from their freedom of speech 'cause some lunatic half way around the world may claim that it helped support their efforts to do bad things.

like, say, someone constantly putting up bullshit OP’s on an internet message board devoted to the eradication of ignorance may encourage some neoconservative fruitcake somewhere to bomb a university or some such.

yea, that’s the ticket, december, in the interests of world peace and justice and all things good, you must refrain from posting!

december, you are so full of shit it’s coming out your ears. Why don’t you go down to the senior center and bother them every once in a while?

Well, okay, that does it. I have run across the field and have hopped the fence. The only solution is to kill them all. More bombs, more tanks, more guns, and more war!!! Fuck yeah, I better get going on the baby making too. Need to have BRAVE soldiers in the future to fight for FREEDOM. We also need lots of citizens to help pay for this war in the future. If my wife is not preggers in 30 days, she is nothing but a commie pinko freedom hating fag!!!

On a sane note, why would protesting the war affect him and his chances to pull off his attack? I find it rather unrelated.

december, why do you hate freedom?

December,

If the terrorists in question are really that thankful to protestors for aiding their cause, wouldn’t they keep quiet about that appreciation? After all, they ought to be aware that association with terrorism wouldn’t aid the protestors’ cause in America/Australia.

Plus, do you really believe that a terrorist needs a Western protestor to encourage his/her actions?

-Ulterior

A couple weeks ago, he was using the (falsely-attributed) words of Bill Clinton, who he himself considers a liar and a slimeball of the highest rank, to bolster one of his arguments. Now, december is relying on the words of a psychotic terrorist in an attempt to prove his predictable point about those who protest the war.

It’s a sign of his desperation that he’s scraping at the dregs of humanity for support of his opinions. Who are you going to quote in support of your position next, december?

Hmmm… could it beee… SATAN?!

And neither will your propaganda.

Good questions. Your guess is as good as mine.

I didn’t say that. Please don’t put words in my mouth.

The OP isn’t bullshit. It’s simply facts that you don’t like.

[Rodney Dangerfield]
Avalonian, you complain when I use falsely-attributed words. You complain when I use accurate words. I can’t get no respect!
[/Rodney Dangerfield]

Respect is earned, Rodney.

Ok, then, december, what is your point? should the protestors refrain from their protests because some one might make such a claim?

should the protestors feel somehow responsible for the insane actions of someone else half a world away?

what, pray tell, is your point in bringing it up?

how is the OP not BS??? you stated ‘the protestors encouraged this carnage’. that is absolute fucking ass purely unadalterated bull shit. I demand proof that the protestors encouraged this carnage. Currently the only thing you’ve demonstrated is that some criminally inclined asshole a half world away said ‘thanks for supporting our cause’. this does not constitute proof that the demonstrators did any such thing, or even knew that said fruitcake was aware of them.

so, have at it. prove your bullshit assertion or (praise the powers that be) shut the fuck up finally.

December. You have inspired me to become a terrorist. The only way to stop me is to stop posting.

Why on earth would a terrorist think that because the unpopular war Bush started was actually unpopular that his actions would change anything? I mean, shit, there were multiple marches across the country with hundreds of thousands Americans against the war and Bush called it a “focus group”. You think a handful of Australians are going to make a difference one way or another?

It’s pretty comical how december blames people for disliking Bush’s stupid actions. I predict that if Bush dropped his pants on national television and waved his wang at the camera, december would blame the media/liberals/the BBC for making him out to be a laughingstock.

December:

What do you suggest people who are against the war do? Sit on their hands? The proper course of action is to ignore the rantings of an admitted terrorist. To the extent that there is any logic behind their actions, it is to sow division in the civilized world. Just as they kill to induce physical fear, this type of “verbal terrorism” is meant to induce chaos in the world of ideas.

There are legitimate complaints to level against many of the anti-war protesters. Railing against “racism and capitalism”, or waving the Iraqi flag (in support of what?) is just plain stupid. But saying they shouldn’t protest at all is not the way to counter their position.

Tell me again why Collunsbury was banned but december isn’t?

(Well, give him credit for dropping this steaming pile in The Pit, at least)
