I do wonder if it’s more of the case that there is an assumption by them that both sides cheat to the degree that cheating is the primary way people now win elections, and in that they are further the cheating by accusing the other side of cheating. And justify their false accusations as just part of the game, and thus fair game to do so.
Ah !, oh well, that’s next weeks viewing sorted !
Yeah, they KNOW and they are working on preserving it.
Well, in one case, the accusation was that a big bus that said Biden/Harris on the side pulled up to the arena where votes were being counted, and a whole busload of people in Biden/Harris T-shirts got out and pulled out big boxes of blank ballots from underneath the bus and filled them out right there on the sidewalk in full view of everyone!
This was an actual accusation in one of the bullshit affidavits that Sidney Powell submitted to the court.
Here in the UK we’ve learnt not to believe anything that’s written on the side of a bus.
… the hard way …
If only they hadn’t wore those damn t-shirts! Lesson learned.
I think the bias comes from political isolation. If you only come in contact with people the look like you and think like you and vote like you, then you will think that you’re in the majority even when you’re not. They think “everybody I know voted for him, he had to have won and if the other side wins, they must be cheating.”
And that also leads you to mistrust polls. “How can this guy be only getting a 30% approval, everyone I know loves him and likes everything he does. It must be fake news like he said!”
Then those polls are right, your guy loses, and that just convinces you that everything is rigged and so you riot at the capitol.
