One of my friends from high school and his band, Ra Ra Riot, will be performing on Friday, August 22 at 7 pm at Soundgarden in Fells Point. My friend, Wes Miles, is from the same group of HS friends that includes Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend.

I saw Ra Ra Riot at SXSW last year, and liked them a lot; I was surprised that their debut full-length just now got released. It’s really good.
