A friend is in need of a binder in the Baltimore area who can bind a dissertation in compliance with ANSI/NISO/LBI Z39.78-2000 with a 48-hour turnaround.
They’ve been referred to Hopkins’ preferred binder but the turnaround time may be too long.
Where in Baltimore or the surrounding area did you get your thesis or dissertation bound?
TIA!!
I had a friend who used to do this kind of work, but he left the country and went back to Thailand. He used to get our stuuf so quick that we all knew we could wait until the last minute and still be OK. I came running into class one day, and my friend asked me if I had picked up all of the thesis’, even though 10 of us had dropped them off just the night before, and I said " Yup! Blessed be the Thai who binds!"
There are a couple in our much-smaller-than-Bal’more town. I’d HOPE you can find some there, and they could bind a dissertation to “ANSI/NISO/LBI Z39.78-2000” standards (is anyone really that picky?)
Apparently not all book binders do dissertations. Maybe in the larger urban areas, they specialize more. One book binder I called hadn’t even heard the word, ‘dissertation.’ I repeated it three times. When he asked me to spell it, I decided to try some one else, and thanked him politely for his time.
