hi. great site and all that. just as a footnote to
http://www.straightdope.com/classics/a2_240.html i’d like to pose the horrifying thought that -(o)rama might make another comeback any time now. Balzac’s novel ‘Old Goriot’, set in 1819, has a fantastically annoying character who wanders around saying ‘healthorama’ and ‘souporama’ at intervals, after the new invention of the Diorama.

So why would this lead to a comeback now? Did that book just see another printing, or become required reading in a bunch of high school classes, or something?
