Just heard another one this morning. On Ringo Starr’s “Don’t Go Where The Road Don’t Go” from his Time Takes Time release, he says " I said it don’t come easy". A callback to one of his first solo singles “It Don’t Come Easy”.

Andrew Bird’s “Skin Is, My” was developed out of “Skin”; “Imitosis” was similarly developed out of “I.” Given the way he constantly plays with and tweaks his songs (which you’ll be very familiar with if you see him play live more than once), this happens a lot.
