I actually googled Joplin and it said Illinois. I’m not American- I just remember a show about some guy who murdered someone else in Joplin - he was contracted to do the hit and claimed the gun went off accidently. This Joplin looked a real dive.

How odd. I googled just “Joplin” alone, and of the top 10 hits, all were the one in Missouri, except one for Janis and one for Scott. Perhaps Google picked up on your username “Cicero” and assumed you must have an Illinois connection. I once dated a girl from Cicero, IL.
