Does anyone know where I can find an FAQ or pdf of ways to convert special keystrokes like tab, enter, and function keys to barcode.
Its for Symbol PTD6846/powernet 5250 scanners. I would like to make some “barcode macros” of sorts and the documentation I recieved did not cover this type of procedure.
Certainly the code 3of9 character set doesn’t support control characters, so it won’t be as simple as formatting ASCII control characyters as barcodes;
Does the manual say or imply that it is definitely possible? - whatever it is, it is likely to be proprietary to Symbol and possibly specific to the family of devices (Symbol change their technology quite a bit).
