Barefoot running is working for me! Need ideas for a shoe for cold weather.

Emil Zatopek was once described as running like a man who had been stabbed in the heart.
He’s also the only man to win the marathon, 10,000m and 5,000m in the same Olympics (1952).

I’ve always liked him because he looked like he felt the same way I feel when running - “always in agony.”

Don’t worry, funky, the shoe people have seen all types, including much worse than your Dr. Evil stride. And besides, what often looks like a nice long, flowing stride might not be ideal.

I’m always amused when I’m running a 5K or 10K, and see kids running. Most of them have crazy strides, arms and legs flailing about, looking like they’re in a constant state of falling on their faces…and, yet, they’re faster than me.
