I am REALLY strapped for cash for college, and I have some stuff I want to sell (don’t worry, I am not selling on the SD). I am just curious what someone would pay for something. I have a mint condition (never been taken out of its display case) baseball signed by the 1992 Los Angeles Dodgers. It has signatures from Orel Hershiser, Tommy Lasorda, Tom Candiotti, and the rest of the lineup, as well as others. Is this thing worth a hoot?
I’ll give you 20 bucks for it. Too bad it isn’t the 1988 Dodgers.
There’s a 1974 team autographed ball on ebay for $27.
Ah hell…the plight of the poor college student. Guess I ought to find another job…
Don’t sell it! Jesus! Give blood or something!
We have some serious baseball memorabilia (Mantle, Williams, Ryan, Reese, lots of HOF-ers), and we will never sell any of it. It’s not that kind of thing.
We don’t even display it anymore, although we may once we redo the house.
Hang on to it. It’s hard to get big bucks for sports memorabilia these days unless you are fairly trusted in the industry. Even having a certificate of authenticity isn’t a guarantee of anything unless it’s from well-known dealers or a company like Topps or Upper Deck.
