Basketball players: Question about practice

When I was playing basketball, at the end of practice we’d all work on lay-ups, jumpers, etc in a free shoot. At the end, the coach would yell something out, which meant gather all the loose balls.

I can’t for the life of me think what the word was. A co=worker knows what I’m talking about, but can’t think of the word either.
Any help?

Anyone? No one? Someone?

Was it scramble, or scatter?

My baseball and basketball coach both used the term “shag” to refer to gathering the loose balls. Obviously, my coach hadn’t been exposed to a lot of folks from the UK.

Not sure if that’s what you are looking for.

“Rack 'em?” That’s the only thing I can remember any of my coaches saying.

I thought it was “Rack 'em” too, but my coworker convinced me there was another term.

She thought it started with a “S” or “Sc” or “Scr”, so it could very well be “Scramble” or “Shag.” “Scramble” sounds right to me. But I’ll run these by her.
Thanks!

I was a basketball team manager in high school and spent a lot of time gathering up basketballs at practice and I don’t recall there being anything the coach said. I just picked them up because that was my job and it got me out of a regular PE class. But I still got a varsity letter! Woo hoo!
