Basketball question: Double delay of game?

I was watching the end of the Kansas-Texas basketball game on TV. With about a minute and a half left, Kansas drew a charge under the Texas basket. Kansas was in the bonus but did not shoot free throws, they inbounded the ball. The announcers mentioned something about the refs calling a “double delay of game” but didn’t elaborate. What is that, and is that why free throws were not shot?

You never shoot free throws for an offensive foul by the other team.

I didn’t see the game, so I wouldn’t know what the call was, but it was probably a warning to both sides.

In the NBA you do, however (or at least you used to, IIRC).
