My cousin and his wife dumped their car at my place when they went to Switzerland for two weeks (I live close to the airport and have an extra parking space).
When they returned they brought me a gift. I was hoping for alcohol, or even chocolate. Instead, I get a box of something called Basler Leckerli. They told me it was a delicacy in Switzerland.
Ok, so I tried it. It’s ok, but I’m not in heaven or anything, so I’m wondering if my cousin cheaped out on me.
Now, before I get a lecture on looking a gift-horse in the mouth, there’s some bad blood between this cousin and me, and I was a little irritated that the only time he calls me up is when he needs something, so if it was anybody else, I wouldn’t even bother about it, but I just want to know if this cousin is just pulling his same old stuff. So, anyone know about this stuff?
BTW, if anyone’s interested, it’s some type of wafer that tastes a little like ginger-snaps.
