What comics are good that portray Batman in his old insane dissipated batshit (pardon the pun) days?
Outside of that, which one’s portray the character as an integral part of the criminal insanity that he participates in. Along the lines of Arkham Asylum.
The Dark Knight Returns covers both of those stipulations.
The Dark Knight Strikes Again covers his cranky old man aspect too. But it doesn’t exist officially, if you know what I mean.
I didnt mention that one on purpose. If he hasnt read The Dark Knight Returns, and then reads …Strikes Again, he may never read another comic book in his life. I was trying to save the poor fellow 
Kingdom Come portrays him as the older, crotchety, vengeful, obsessive, meddling Batman.
