I have come to learn that these clouds are in the stratosphere. Noticing that most clouds are formed in the troposphere, how exactly are these clouds formed? Are they clouds at all? Does anyone have a link to some pictures of said clouds? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
I have no idea what a bauchus cloud is. But here is a link to the University of Illinois cloud catalog.
