bean beef and cheese burrito.

[nostalgic voice]

All this talk about bean burritos and no one’s mentioned “Mexican fat burners” yet.

tdn, surely one resurrected thread on th’ topic is enough, don’t you think? Here’s hopin’ the rest don’t get the same Lazarus treatment, before th’ mods can get here …

Dude, it isn’t that cold in Indiana, i ran errands to day in a sweatshirt and jeans.

Moderator’s Notes:

And yet this thread is in MPSIMS.

Indeed. Knock it the hell off right now. Strike one.

Umm… Huh?

Apparently I’ve crossed a line somewhere, but I fail to see what I did wrong. Can you please point out my trangression so that I don’t repeat it?

Thanks!

Simple, this thread had been dead for 13 months. You’ve been here for nearly three years, you should know by now that zombie threads aren’t very welcome.

Yikes! I saw the OP date of 11/28 and simply assumed 2002. Given that this thread was linked to by a Pit thread that’s current yet zombified, it wasn’t an unreasonable assumption. But it was still boneheaded of me.

Apologies all around.

That ain’t it.

Since you say can’t see that you’ve done anything wrong, maybe I’ve misinterpreted your remarks. Just what did you mean when you said, “I started making an ass of you and ming.” I took it as a derogatory remark.

Uncle: I think he was riffing off the old chestnut “When you assume, you make an ass of u and me” (ass-u-me).

Ass-u-ming. Hence “making an ass of you and ming.”

Clumsy construction but I don’t think he was trying to be derogatory (of course I’m ass-u-ming, myself).

Uh. You may be right. In which case, allow me to offer my sincere apology for my screwup. And a retraction of that “strike one” thing, of course.

Carry on, tdn.

Uncle: No harm meant, the reason I thought of it was because I was thinking of the Penn and Teller “assume” skit.
