Beavis & Butthead return! Duh-naa Na-na-na! Duh-na-na-na-na-naa Na-na-na!

Somebody needs to make this a ringtone.

I may watch just to see them make fun of the MTV shows.

I was a massive fan of KoH and Idoitcracy (sp?) so I’m glad Mike Judge has a new show. The Goode family was cancelled way too soon

I can’t watch it right now, but I am sooooo psyched!!!

I believe Judge did not have anything to do with “Daria”. He invented the character, but the show was done by others.

Beavis and Butthead are about to be introduced to a whole new audience. I suspect that the majority of people who watch MTV now are a different group than those who watched it during their first run.

I work with guys who are 18 to 21 who will for sure watch it. Plus people like me who don’t even know what channel MTV’s on currently.

Although the Jersey Shore bit was amusing, I hope it’s not *JUST *MTV programing that they provide their commentary for. I heard viral Internet stuff will be included, along with music videos, (but that was a while ago). I realize now just how much I miss music videos in general. It’s sort of sad B&B have to divide their attention.

“Are you going to change the channel, Butthead?”

“Why bother? The only thing I seem to get on this TV is bad videos.”

I think they are trying to avoid the same problem that kept the old show from getting DVD releases and sticking with things they own the rights too. 90’s MTV had the bad habit of plastering whatever music was in heavy rotation at the time all over their popular shows, that’s why The State and Daria never got released either. It would be silly to go down the same road again

My friend and I were talking. I think:

TV SHOW: South Park > Beavis and Butt-Head
MOVIE: Beavis and Butt-Head > South Park

Both are very close contenders for me.

Beavis and Butt-head Do America was the better movie I believe. Though South Park was great. **What Would Brian Boitano Do **is on my MP3 player. Satan and Saddam were hilarious. But B&B really was a good movie. IMHO, the better of the two.

My friend feels the exact opposite.

(edit)
**DigitalC **I did not know that. Thanks.

To me the South Park movie is about 100 times better than the Beavis and Butthead movie. B&B Do America to me just had way too many of the “idiots get mistaken as masterminds” jokes, whereas Bigger Longer + Uncut was brilliant satire with great music.

The State IS out on DVD. The replaced the music with generic stuff, but all the hilarity is still there.

The same with Daria. I actually find it a better show without the music because the music was just whatever crap MTV happened to be playing at the time.

Let me amend that to “that is why it took so long to get them released” then.

heheh heh heh heh you said heheh heheh heh heh heh

Uh huhhuhhuh. Uhhuhhuh cool!

21 hours til it debuts. And not just small teasers and clips on the Interwebs, but whole epidsodes on the MTV as Mike Judge intended.

Uh-huh-huh huh-huh. I said “but whole.” Huh-huh huh huh-huh huh-huh.

The promos they’ve been showing are hilarious, I’m definitely looking forward to this.

God I missed the boys. Those were great episodes. Even if they don’t enter the pantheon of great B&B episodes they were still awesome because it means that the boys are back.

Seriously, great to have ‘em back. Loved Beavis’ homage to fire in the first two minutes.

You just know that was Mike Judge giving the finger to his old critics.

I can’t wait for the “Foreign Exchange” or “No Laughing”-caliber episodes. These were good, but those two were epic. The Cornholio one they previewed was pretty awesome, too. I hope Judge keeps everything at this caliber.
