I thought of you when this article popped up in one of my local newspapers. A possum with a wheelchair!
Just think of olli possumbilities!
I have to say … I once got roundly smacked down for what that author/editor did:
I also think it could run afoul of the PDA (Possums with Disabilities Act).
But don’t hold me to that.
I love his caregivers name. Cheri Berri.
Perfect.
That’s a cool story.
I know a landscaper whose parents blessed with the name Candy. Somehow she fell in love with and married a guy whose last name was Kane.
I went to high school with Candy Barr.
There’s a Holly Wood where I work.
Cheri Berri has a special ring to it. So much better than Olive Pitts. .
I’m gonna look up Ollie Opossum. And see if that possum ain’t right.
(Forgive me if your name is Olive Pitts)
I just can’t get over how easily animals adapt to those carts.
One of my favorite names came from a SF fiction story. In it there was a General named Cherry Duff. Cherry (or Plum) Duff is delicious.
My mom’s friend Sandy, married a man with a surname of Klaus. She took his surname and then lived well long enough to regret it.
The elevator at my doctor’s building was inspected by a Cheri Berri. She appeared on ads running for some local office and said her name as “cherry bear-EE” however.
You didn’t say WHY a crippled possum makes you think of Beck. I know she’s not a possum because she can write. Does she care for injured animals? You have me curious now! Decency demands that you allay it! LOL
That was truly precious!
I actually responded to that thread two years ago, but I completely forgot about it! Thanks for the reminder link.
I reread the Clarence thread.
Got a giggle from my silliness and how fun Clarence was.
I miss that boy. That possum ain’t right 'cause he left me too soon.
Saw a big ole possum this morning! Right here in the middle of the city, crazy!
