Bed and Breakfast Recommendations near the Biltmore Estate

The better half and I will be traveling to see his mom in early September, and would like to stop off on the way at the Biltmore Estate. Any suggestions for quaint little B&Bs we can stay at? How about other things to do in the area- our itinerary is flexible, so we can spend 2-3 days as needed.

I stayed at the Rankin House B&B in Asheville back in 2015.
It was very nice. Not cheap, the B&Bs in town rarely are. It is one of the oldest houses in Asheville (or course they say that the house is really the oldest but the Chamber of Commerce thinks their building is and the B&B is being magnanimous)
The manager is very nice.
You can find them on the web.

Well, there are the cottages on the Biltmore property. The bed and breakfast packageruns just shy of $2,000 per night - affordable on any budget (for certain values of “any”).

[sub]C’mon, it includes the services of a butler and a personal chef for breakfast[/sub]

Hmmm. $2000 is a steal for buttling.

In Soviet Russia, you get buttled for free!
