So I was stung by a bee near my elbow a few days ago. My arm is still somewhat swollen. I’m just wondering - how did my body react to the sting? What exactly is in my arm that makes it swollen? Did the tissues themselves get bigger? Is there some type of liquid in there? How does the poison from the bee do this?
