Been to King's Island Lately? With Children?

Twenty years ago I thought nothing of heading up I71 and spending the day riding the Racer, eating LaRosa’s and following the clown band.

I really want to take our 4-yr-old twins there this summer, they love Nickelodeon characters. And pizza.

Any suggestions on managing small fry?

Do they have a place where you can secure some dry clothes post-Boomerang Bay?

Tell me about your fun!

They have a very nice and contained kids area. There is a mini water gauntlet with one entrance and one exit, so you don’t lose your kids. My son could kill an hour there without much effort. The roller coasters are not super exciting, but if your children can walk they can probably ride. Scooby’s haunted house has air conditioning. The ride is nice too.

The nick characters are pretty concentrated, which is fun. The rides are also strongly themed.

Alas, my children are far too old for me to help you out with Kiddyland. However, I will say that you should check out the internet as they offer discounted tickets via their website.

Yeah, I think we’ll do the 2-day deal.

I can’t believe how much the place has changed. Got rid of that blue one near the entrance w/the loop-de-loops, Wild Animal Safari’s long gone, and no signs of Scooby-Doo anywhere.

Didn’t see any mention of the clown band, either. :frowning:
