Beer for pizza dough recipe

I guess I don’t have a very sensitive or sophisticated palate. I didn’t notice any appreciable difference between the dough made with water and that made with the beer. Maybe it’s too subtle for my taste buds. But it’s definitely not worth all the hassle of an extra trip to the liquor store. I’ll just stick with water in the recipe.

I was going to say exactly the same thing - of course you can’t taste it, it’s Bud!

Next time if you want to taste the flavor difference more look for a porter or a stout. They won’t add to much in the way of bitterness or floral notes like an IPA but might be more noticeable.
