Beginners "Reading Pack" on Climate Change Basics

I have a niece who’s starting to want to understand a bit more about climate change.
She’s in her mid-20s and a high school dropout and when she was in school she wasn’t a strong student nor has she ever been much of a reader. She’s asked me for suggestions on some reading she can do.
I am happy that she’s taking an interest in learning more. I’m trying to put together a light “reading pack” that will be accessible to her.

I note her limited education and that she wasn’t a strong student but, just to be clear, I absolutely do consider her a smart person. But the limited education and previous lack of interest in reading are noted for context to consider if you have any reading material to suggest.

Visuals are good: graphs, charts, etc.
I’m looking for articles that are good with facts but also good with presenting those facts to a person who is not especially science literate.

Doesn’t seem that any of the major online streaming platforms are currently offering “An Inconvenient Truth” but maybe I can coax her to lay down the $3.99 or whatever to rent it on Prime.

Any other suggestions for good documentaries currently on Netflix or Hulu will also be appreciated.

I know I don’t post here as much anymore but the SDMB is still my first thought when I’m looking for opinions of smart people.

With my history here, I hope that it will be understood that this is not a “homework question”.
I only ever considered asking a homework question here once, in 1960, for 20 minutes.
