I’m back. Nobody tried to make out with me at all. Or slobber over me. I am so disappointed. msmith537, I shall never trust you again.
Only $500 for a team outing?
Slackers.
Individually…not all together.
Lightweights. Get back to me when you guys are arguing over hiding the dead hooker’s body. Now that’s team-building.
Wait… What were my parents doing while I was distracted by all of those games?

You mean you haven’t figured out why the “theatre” area of a Chuck E. Cheese is darkened?
Enjoy,
Steven
Well…this weekends team building activity was certainly a success…now let’s never speak of it again as long as any of us live.
msmith537-it’s not the alcohol, it’s the people who are drinking it.
Irishfella works at a small company where the employees have a weekly poker night at each other’s houses. The xmas party involves a restaurant, a pub crawl, karaoke and a general. Fridays tend to end in the pub. They all manage to act like adults, and everyone has a good time without doing any of the things you mentioned.
Their solution for the fairly constant staff hangovers? Flexitime.
You can come in as late as you want or leave as early as you feel like, but by g-d you make up those missed hours at some point.
sorry, that should be “a general party atmosphere”.
You get to work with females. I’m already jealous!!!

Unfortunately the nature of our work is such that you have to be available when the clients need you. Unfortunately, due to the fact that we sometimes work late, many of our employees have taken it upon themselves to institute their own ‘flextime’.

Chuck E. Cheese?
Given the nature of these anecdotes, I’d say Upchuck E. Cheese is more likely.

Sure it is. It depends on what field you are in, and what the work environment is like. My brother works at one of the biggest investment banks in the world, and they do stuff like that all the time. One time, they had about 10k up for grabs to see if an intern could eat 10 big macs in one hour. Despite all the clowning around, they are very hard working people, who do their jobs well.
When they are not being asshole bullies who like to torment the subordinates. Yeah, they sound like e great bunch of guys.
