One week into it and we’ve already got great things going on. The Tigers are undefeated and leading the Central? Good for them and good for Detroit. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Angels! Big innings, woohoo! Can’t wait for the Texas game. We have two homer-happy teams, with gopherific pitchers playing in a launching pad of a stadium. This is gonna be some fun times this weekend.

Yankees suck! Go Tampa!

And a shout out to the MLB Extra Innings free preview, so I can actually watch my team for a week without relying on ESPN or when they face the O’s. Nice.

I agree. My Royals are so far 1-2, not looking very sharp, but the excitement of our Opening Day last-minute comeback is still thrilling. So far, so good for 2004.

I’m looking forward to seeing Roger Clemens take his at-bats this year with Houston. I’ve got nothing against the guy, I just like the tension involved in the situation.

Cubs are off to a bit of a slow start. Once Prior gets back and Maddux gets on track they’ll be at the top of the NL Central in no time.

I’ve seen a couple of highlights with the Blue Jays, at least I think it’s the Blue Jays. I liked the uniforms they used to have. What’s the deal, they’re the Blue Jays. RickJay, do you have an explanation for this?

I think this is the second time in two years the Jays have changed their uniforms. Didn’t last year they go to the big red T with a bird behind it making a fist or something?

Keep trying until you get it right, I guess.

I knew the Cubs would never be able to sustain success based on their young pitching with Baker at the helm. When you leave your 23 year old starter in the game for 120+ pitches in half his starts, this is going to happen. Why does anyone let Dusty make any decisions with respect to young arms?
