Julian Fellowes, the creator of Downton Abbey, has a new series out called Belgravia. You can stream the first few episodes for free on Amazon Prime. While I thoroughly enjoyed them, I am too cheap to pay for the rest of the series. However, it sparked my interest in reading the book, which I borrowed from the library and has me completely hooked.
Watch the first few episodes to get pulled into the world, then read the book.
I still subscribe to the DVD-by-mail service from Netflix and the whole season is scheduled to be available on disc in August. (And if you’re a Julian Fellowes fan, he has another series called The Gilded Age coming, perhaps next year, on HBO.)
