"Below is the result of your feedback form"

Why does every piece of friggin spam I get have this message in the body? Don’t tell me this is some loophole those subhumans can use to get out of TOS violations.
Is it?

It’s just a trick to make you think the mail isn’t unsolicited. By citing some feedback form, they’re trying to make you think you submitted a form on their website. It’s right up there with “Here’s the information you requested” in the list of sleazy tricks that spammers use to try to keep you from coming after them.

If you’re sure you didn’t submit a form, go after them. Check the mail headers to determine where the mail came from and complain to their ISP and every upstream bandwidth provider you can find.

Myself, I just “reply-edit-select all-copy” and remove all my ID tags and send it back to them.

They get tired after awhile.
