His name was revealed to be William Burgess Powell, and he was lying all along. He’s a conman and possibly a murderer.
Discovery-ID aired a miniseries recently, which was made about 10 years ago but for some reason not released until now. It’s not really that good, and I personally would have liked updates, in part because some of the major people in it are now deceased.
And of course Dr. Todd Grande had to toss his hat into that ring.
