Bermuda natives

Did Bermuda have any native population prior to it’s discovery in 16th century?

The Tiano people lived in most caribbean islands before Spanish colonization.

I meant Taino…

Is Bermuda in the Caribbean?

Bermuda is off the Carolina coast

Other than the belief that Bermuda was the home of demons, I don’t think anyone lived there before its discovery by Europeans.

Sorry, the answer was about an external thread about Barbuda in a different board.
Bermuda was actually uninhabited at the time of discovery in 1503 (and remained so until the seventeen century when claimed by Britain).

Bermuda is in the Atlantic, not the Caribbean. It was discovered by Europeans in the early sixteenth century, at which time it was uninhabited. There’s no evidence that there were ever any human inhabitants before the Europeans arrived. The first permanent settlement was in the early seventeenth century.
