“Start Me Up” by The Folkmen is great!
Jane Wiedlin does a great acoustic version of “Our Lips Are Sealed” on her Greatest Hits album.

thanks for the help on my hip hop selections. next i think i am going to look for camp fire versions of robbie williams songs - so if you know of any…
I’ve always loved John Hartford’s cover of “Piece of My Heart.”
Robyn Hitchcock does great live acoustic covers of Roxy Music’s “More Than This” and Psychedelic Furs’ “The Ghost in You.”
In the middle of Emmerson Lake & Palmer’s “Welcome back my Friends to theshow that never ends” Is a beautiful solo guitar vesion of “Still…you turn me on”
Another vote for Layla.
Also, Landslide – Stevie Nicks
Okay, it’s embarassingly middle-of-the-road, but the version of “Ants Marching” on the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds Live at Luther College album is nothing short of brilliant.
How about Led Zepplin’s “Goin’ to California” or Jefferson Airplane’s “Embronic Journey” Great 12 string work!
Every Neil Young song has an acoustic version to it, all of which are amazing. Neil with his acoustic guitar and harmonica is as good as music gets. That being said, there is one acoustic version of “Cortez the Killer” (Oakland, 1999 solo tour) that is above and beyond anything you’ll ever hear. Other Neil Young acoustic highlights: "Down by the River"on the 12-string, “Southern Pacific” on the guitjo, “Slowpoke,” “Thrasher” (from the 1977 Rust Never Sleeps tour), and pretty much everything else Neil has ever done acoustic.
I agree. Also “Black Diamond”
