Best 'bad guy' scene...

yes!!! and he only had that little part, but he was so effective that you hated him in about 6 seconds!!

martin sheen in “the dead zone”. totally slimy and reprehensible.

the villains in “city of lost children”, the ones who were kidnapping the kids, they totally creeped me out.

My favorite is in The Maltese Falcon, where Greenstreet gets to say “I like doing business with a man who likes doing business.” Charming and cold as ice.

Not a villian, but the German soldier in Saving Private Ryan whispering to the Ranger as he slowly stabbed him was classic.
Anyone speak German? What was he saying?

In Day of the Jackal, I think the Jackal’s target practice on melons really demonstrates how deadly this man is.

Favorite “bad guy” scene: Laurence Olivier performing some unwanted dental surgery on Dustin Hoffman while purring “Is it safe?” in Marathon Man

Most horrifying “Bad Guy” scene: Ralph Fiennes standing on his balcony in his undershirt, picking off concentration camp inmates like squirrels, in “Schindler’s List”; in fact just about everything he does in that film gives me the willies…

There is a part right after the Joker is created and he goes to see his boss in his penthouse and and you can’t really see the Jokers face. The boss is surprised to see Jack (the joker) and says that he’s glad he’s alive…

THe Joker goes

“Jack? Jacks dead. You can call me…Joker.”

The Joker then makes a big production out of shooting him. It’s absolutely beautiful. I love it.

The Joker? Nah, the best bad guy scene is thusly:

JOKER: “Those were my balloons… he stole my balloons! Bob… gun.”
BOB: ::hands him a gun::
JOKER: ::shoots bob::

Then you can’t forget when a Young Jake Napier said to a Younger Bruce Wayne: “You ever dance with the devil by the pale moonlight?”

The Joker is the most evil villain ever created.

But my favorite villain is R.J. Fletcher, from UHF:

RJ: “You idiot! Can’t you do anything right?!? Does this look like a #2 pencil?!?”
MAN: “No, but I thought…”
RJ: “You thought?!? I don’t pay you to think!!”
MAN: “But da-a-a-ad…!”
RJ: “Shut up!”

Joe Pesci, when he shoots the kid in Goodfellows.

So cold blooded, I got a chill in my spine.

Or James Gandolfini’s scene in True Romance. “Now I do it just to watch their expression change.”

That whole speech is amazing.
