Best bath soap for hard water (both bar and liquid)

Any suggestions? I heard Zest is good but I also heard they changed their formula and it doesn’t work like it used to.

Also shampoo suggestions are welcome too.

Glycerin bar soap, the color of honey and translucent. I think it’s sold in liquid form, too. It’s all I use, for hair and body in the shower and for my hands in the bathroom and kitchen. Regular bar soap is cheaper and doesn’t melt away as quickly, but glycerine seems not to dry out my skin as quickly.

Grew up using a bar with the name “Basis” on it. Dove seems to have more “creaminess” to it, and lather up better in our hard water.

And it lasts longer than when we try some boutique “hand-artisinally-crafted Walrus Belly, Sage ‘n’ Saffron” soap.

Ivory works good in hard water, used to bring it with for using on trips or at a cottage. Cheap too.

Try adding some water softener salts to your water tank, Its like $6 dollars for 50 pounds of it and it will last a while, then you can use any soap
