Good brands in power tools?

The last couple posts in the Angle grinder question thread discussed tool quality/reputation. Rather than sidetrack that thread, I wanted to throw it open to the Dope as a whole—how do various brands (generally) compare? Here are the major brands I can think of off the top of my head. I know there are some house brands in there, and have a good notion that Chicago Electric (Harbor Freight brand) is near the bottom for most things power tool, but other than the obvious (or, seemingly obvious), m…
