Hey man, lay off the, ummmm, nostalgia. That was Nice Dreams :).
It’s the only C&C movie I’ve ever seen, and I love it. I suspect it’s not your ‘typical’ C&C movie, though, since it has only a pot reference or two in passing.
Nothing even comes close to Up in Smoke. I’ve seen all of their movies, and I’ll go so far as to say that Up in Smoke is the only decent one in the bunch. I must have seen it a hundred times when I was a teenager. A ton of quotable lines, and really good music.

HA! I just found the original trailer to Up In Smoke on YouTube. I couldn’t believe the show the Snorting of the Ajax! You’d never get away with that nowadays.

Nice Dreams was the first C&C movie I ever saw, and I still have fond memories of it.
I never had any of their albums, so for me it was new and funny.
Personally, I like The Corsican Brothers because it is a departure from their usual routine.
I was a bit disappointed in The Corsican Brothers because I was expecting another stoner movie. But I remember liking the “herpes” bit.
I’d vote for Up In Smoke if you’re only going to see one, although I think it kinda lost steam towards the end.
As a kid, I laughed at the conversation where the dude was talking about his sword and the girl thought he was talking about his dong.
“Why, I’ve mistreated it for years. So foolish. I used to go around stickin’ it into everything. Stuck it into watermelons - just practicing. One day I stuck it into the dirt, broke the tip off.”
Watch the first two in order. You’ll be fine if you skip the rest, though they can be somewhat entertaining if you’re in the right mood.
I grew up with Up in Smoke and Next Movie on laser disc so they are special to me.
I think Next Movie gets props for being an early Pee Wee Herman apperance.
I also love 70s Los Angeles so street scenes in that one are like heaven for me.
