Campbell River, at the juncture of the Johnstone Straits and the Gulf of Georgia, hub of the the wildest supernatural coastal wilderness teeming with wildlife. Thirty minutes from skiing at Mt Washington, and five minutes from catching a 40 lb tyee salmon. Bears, grizzly and black, Roosevelt Elk, and deer, cougar and wolves , orcas and dolphins, are all accessible to view by 4x4ing the logging roads, boating and kayaking as well as flying in vintage radial engine planes such as the Beaver.
