Best (large) fried chicken chain

Voted for Popeye’s, although the best fast food fried chicken, IMHO, was at Wendy’s.

Popeyes is usually my favorite unless the server gives me hot & spicy instead of the regular.

That ruins the dinner for me. Hot & spicy is ridiculously hot.

I always order regular. I suspect sometimes they serve me Hot & spicy if they are out of regular breasts.

I wonder why Popeyes is so damn stingy with the sides? They only give one with a dinner. Churchs, KFC, give two.

They want you to buy a combo pack, which comes with a soda and two sides.

I never bother getting the sides, I can make my own side dishes a lot cheaper than they can. Less sodium and nasty grease too.

Besides, Boston Chicken is the only one [I think] that has creamed spinach, and we tend to like new potatoes with garlic butter and freshly cracked pepper.

Did anyone else visualize a ChickenZilla running through the streets of Tokyo for just a second?

Oh no, Annie! The Beans have pork fat in them!

Sorry if that ruined them for you, but veggies gotta look out for that stuff.

I didn’t vote. The only chicken chain up here is KFC. Actually, there’s a Popeye’s but I haven’t found it yet. I haven’t had Popeye’s in at least a decade, and at the time I liked Pioneer Chicken. The best fried chicken I’ve had was at Aunt Kizzy’s Back Porch, which doesn’t qualify for the poll.

Church’s then Popeye’s.

Popeye’s for the red beans and rice and Church’s for the biscuits. Both have good chicken.

I did not vote for this reason. Only KFC is near me. Church’s and Popeye’s are in San Diego but they are to far to go for fast food. It is the American west fried chicken desert.

With the caveat that I’ve only ever had KFC, Church’s, Lee’s, and Popeye’s, I voted Popeye’s.

Incidentally, the OP left out Maryland Fried Chicken, though I would put it well behind Bojangles and Popeye’s anyway.

Not enough locations to qualify. Funny there aren’t actually any locations in Maryland.
