What are the best cinema deaths you’ve ever seen? For me, one would be in LA Confidential, when Jack Vincennes (Kevin Spacey) is shot. No dramatic last words, no overdone melodrama. Just him falling dead.

Paul Reubens in the original movie version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer has a great death scene.
First, a comment on spoilers in the op. Just an aside really, but when you hover the cursor over the title, the first few lines of the op come up as a kind of sample. The text in the spoiler box comes up just like the rest.
As for good deaths in movies, I liked Dennis Hopper’s end in “True Romance.” More the lead in than the end itself, but it was classic.

The death of Steve Martin’s dentist character in the musical remake of The Little Shop of Horrors is pretty funny.

He gets unexpectedly cut in half by a low flying airplane; his legs just sort of stand there for a second or two, before toppling into the water. A metaphor for the senseless slaughter of war.
Wash’s demise in Serenity, just to piss off a bunch of people. 
Depends on how you define “best.” Paul Rubens gets the nod for funniest. Most violent goes to either **Bonnie and Clyde ** or Sonny Corleone in the Godfather. Most accurate would be Nick Cage in Leaving Las Vegas.
Best known might be Alec Guinness in Star Wars
