On the other hand, the best coaster at Cedar Point is the Gemini, which consistently has almost no line (running pairs of trains in parallel means more throughput, which means the line stays short).

Or go with someone else, but call yourselves singles. You might still get to ride together, if there are two seats open but the groups in line happen to all be three or more. And even if you don’t, if one person rides this time and one the next, you’re probably not waiting long on the bench next to the exit.

The best queue system can not involve a smartphone!

Hmmm, let’s flip you upside down with inadequate pockets, especially for the women. Are you leaving your expensive phone in a cubby on the ‘out’ side of the ride; that doesn’t have any security, including camera pointed at them? I’m not! Let’s make one side of the park a water park; phones shouldn’t get wet. Our phones stay in the car when we go to one.

Let’s also not forget how many foreign visitors a place like Disney gets. I can’t begin to tell you what international roaming is like for a domestic European phone plan. I have seen enough horror stories of $3-4000 bills that my phone is on airplane mode when I’m international. I’ll connect to wifi or I’ll turn it on/roam if I need something but after I actively lookup whatever it goes back on airplane mode.

I had a bad experience with CC car insurance one time. I called in advance & confirmed that everything was good, both with the rental agency & my CC, except it wasn’t when I went to pick up the car.
