I was attracted to “Perfect Day” by this BBC version. But the Lou Reed version, monotone as it is, seems quite popular.
**Who has the best version of this lovely tune?

I was going to mention the Susan Boyle version. Love it. I seem to recall that I know of another great one, but I can’t remember what I’m thinking of at all right now.
Also, I’m guessing you meant this to be in Cafe Society, so I reported it for you.
For a less melodramatic version, I like Faith Yang & Eason Chan (stop the video after the song is done to avoid a spoiler for the movie Taiyo no Uta). Though “After Hours” is actually her best Lou Reed cover.
That version (on your link) is not available in my area.
See if you can watch via this link. It’s a somewhat crappy recording of a live performance, and it’s not complete, but you get the idea.
Since there is no factual answer possible, moved from GQ to Cafe Society.

Wait until I break out my ontological argument. You’ll see. You’ll all see! MUAHAHAHA!
I prefer Lou’s if asked, so I am going to add a pretty good one and we can hash out which is best later.
