Best shooting hearing protection recommendations?

My normal progressive glasses although for black powder and historic events I have an antique pair fitted with actual safety glass lenses. Black powder smoke and residue corrode the crap out of modern lenses.

The headphones or the earplugs only cut the incoming sound down by about 30 dB, so you probably want to double up if it’s a really loud gun, or you’re indoors or something along those lines.

And until now I figured I was the only one who did that.

Most eye pro will go over glasses, if not they make ones that specify that.

I wear Howard Leights mostly, I should use plugs under as well. Please note that a year or two ago, there was a run of counterfeit Howard Leights being sold on Amazon and elsewhere. If you bought them awhile back, check e.g. this page
