I heard that song a couple of months ago on some radio program I never listen to, and was trying desperately to memorize some lyrics so I could search for the song later. Luckily, and to my absolute shock, the DJ actually identified the song and artist after the song! How often does that happen these days?
So I got the song (which is excellent, yes), and checked out some of their other music.
Was not as impressed, unfortunately. But I do love that particular song.

This song gets a LOT of airplay on a local radio station, and I have to say it has grown on me, sort of like a fungus. I didn’t really care for it at first, but the happy poppy beat hides what I think is a rather funny satire of they typical rock and roll lifestyle. The lyrics are very funny (at least I hope they are trying to be funny.) I particularly like how they take models for wives in the first verse then have children with them later in the song then leave them for younger models. “Everything must run its course” indeed.
Good stuff. It almost makes me want to get their album, not quite, but almost.
