Best way to stream NFL games

Hey y’all. Long time no post. With NFL season about to kick off, I’m wonder how you all are streaming games. I’ve used YoutubeTV the last couple of seasons, and the service is great, but they’re just getting more and more expensive, so curious about other options. What I need is:

  • Ability to watch in-market games. I’m a Seahawks fan, and I’ll probably watch all 17 of their games. They’re mostly on ‘Q13 Fox’ locally, so the fact that YoutubeTV carried local broadcast networks made this possible.
  • Cloud DVR. I hate commercials, so I tend to watch the game on a delay.
  • Playoffs. Gotta be able to record and watch the playoffs too.
  • Out-of-market games. This is a nice-to-have. I didn’t get it with YoutubeTV, other than what the local network affiliates chose to broadcast locally, but something like Season Ticket would be cool, but not a must have.

I think that’s it. Is there a better option that YoutubeTV again, or should I just plan to re-up that for the season?

I am also a Seahawks fan, and I use their mobile app. When a game is being broadcast, I’ve been able to watch it in the app.

Though I don’t know if you can always do that, or if it was only for certain games. I usually watch them at home on the local networks. It’s also nice for breaking news for the team.

Have you checked out NFL+? It’s either $7 a month or $15 a month depending on how much you need, and it looks like YouTubeTV is $73 a month so it seems a crap ton better.

Is the mobile app a live broadcast, or can you delay, or is for only after-the-fact?

Sadly, that nfl+ link wasn’t loading, but I’ll try it again later.

Love local stuff. It has RedZone for the premium version.

Note I’m not endorsing it because I’ve never used it, but if I were in your shoes I’d check it out for a month.

I just got rid of Fubo in favor of YTTV. I assumed YTTV would be more integrated with regular YT but it really isn’t. Fubo is cheaper, but YTTV has the redzone channel as part of its basic sports tier. So that’s handy.
