I’m going overseas for work for a while and I want to buy a season of the X Files on DVD to watch during my down time.
Which season should I get? To be honest, I got a little bored with the later seasons and the conspiracy theory stuff. I liked the more freaky Twilight Zone kind of episodes.
Are there any where Scully has to go under cover as a hooker?
Season Two, I’d say.
Toss up between Seasons 2 and 3, but I’d give the slight edge to Season 3. Several good two story arcs, plus all of the great Darin Morgan episodes. Season 2 suffers from lack of Scully-time, which I know advanced the plot (back when they cared about those things), but also leads to really bad vampire episodes.
