Best Zombie Gun

I finally found it, the ultimate weapon to have when the zombie hordes start to overrun the cities. Let me introduce the Saiga. It has the power of a shotgun and the quick reload of an assault rifle. The zombie masses don’t stand a chance.

Can’t you just throw records at them?

Sure, if I am in England facing their hordes of Zombies.

Touche, sir! And zing!

Now back to your gun. Looks pretty sweet. I did however, laugh out loud at this quote from the link:

  • Peter Wiggen

In Quake, I found that the grenade launcher worked best against zombies.
They keep reassembling, you see.

I’m a gun-nut and I find that to be the most worthless hunting piece I’ve ever seen. The thought of some yahoo, jacked up on coffee and Jack Daniels, emptying 10 rounds of shot into a flock of ducks 200 yards out of range bothers me more than a little.

OTOH, zombies everywhere must be quaking in their boots.

What about the triple barreled shotgun from Undead?

Entertaining movie BTW.

Why not have a [rifle and a shotgun**, both box magazine fed?

Better yet, [url=http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh16-e.htm]how about a selective fire shotgun](http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/2700/2764.htm), with box or drum magazines?

The problem with CQB and shotguns is the splatter factor: if the zombie model involves infection via blood, then the shotgun might not be the best weapon.

Gee, it would be so nice to be able to edit these things. :smack:

I say the Atchisson assault shotguns (USAS-12) win over the Saiga, on account of a larger magazine (10-round box or 20-round drum) and a full-automatic mode when you absolutely have to lay down the wrath of God.

There’s also something to be said for the Pancor Jackhammer, which is slower on the reload, but also has the 10-round magazine, full-auto, and (very important when facing Zombie Apocalypse) really damn cool looks.

Cool looks? That mofolooks like it came straight outta DOOM.

Black Monday?

Throw it!

People, be practical please! Sure, a full auto shotgun with a drum magazine sounds great and all but how is one to afford such luxuries? The weapons must be purchased before society falls! Now, $300 Saiga vs God only knows how many thousands for the others mentioned. The prepared Zombie fighter is thrifty when it comes to their stockpiles. The money spent on such a weapon might be better spent on equipping the family with bite guards and extra rations.
