What causes some people to desire animals? is it some brain mess up? I’m just curious. I don’t do it myself!

I never heard of any sort of study that linked bestiality to any biological factor.

My take on it is it is like any sort of sexual fetish, no different to sadomasochism, feet fetish, cross-dressing or pedophilia. It’s just that it is socially unacceptable just like pedophilia.

I had to get involved with this one. The first known use of this word is the 14th century, which I just learned. I guess all of those stories about sheep herders were true. I just thought it was a very, very, very uncommon thing that was blown out of proportion by the internet.

Definitions:
1 : the condition or status of a lower animal
2 : display or gratification of bestial traits or impulses
3 : sexual relations between a human being and a lower animal

I would have to agree that it is just socially unacceptable, which makes a some people curious. Have you ever looked at a bestiality picture with curiousity? Some people take it a step further.

I’m not going to write a treaise on it tonight, and somebody who actually knows something about it might show up later, but I’ve always imagined that it is, similar to my perception of what may drive many pedophiles behavior, a way for a person who cannot hold their own in interactions with their peers to pursue sexual gratification with a “partner” who is unquetionably lower in the pecking order, and thus submissive.
