The February thread got slow near the end there, so I’m not surprised there are no March rants yet. But here ya go!
My theory is that most of our frustrations lately have been gummint-related, so the mini-rants and the Stupid 'Pubbies threads have paled by comparison.
My mini-rant? We just got told we have to do more professional development at work, but the budget for seminars/conferences/training and travel have been cut. So, go to more conferences… on your own dime.

My phone charger literally fell apart the other night. The shell that surrounds the plug just … broke in half, leaving me with a plug with exposed electronics. I used it for a couple of days, but then Tuesday night it didn’t charge. So I scrambled around and found a charger which had never been used and was still in its wrapper, and used it last night (I always recharge over night). So when I woke up this morning, it was a brick. Nothing. And it was warm. I guess it overcharged.
So I took it to the Verizon store today and they said yeah, it’s a goner. They’re going to ship me a new one tomorrow. And of course, every time I go to the Verizon store, I buy something. Today it was a wireless charger, so this will never happen again.

Don’t close it before I can say that I love the thread title!! Made me smile, it did.

Does your phone use a bog standard USB connection? Cables you can plug into your computer, if you splurge, are $5US at supermarket checkouts, FFS. Ditto for wall warts.
Since this is redundant, I’ll close it.
