To be fair though, he acknowledges that liberals are not necessarily evil. Sometimes they’re just stupid, unable to think through the unintended consequences of their misguided policies. 
As someone aptly said recently (I’m sorry, I don’t have a link and can’t credit the poster) there was a time when we could recognize mental illness. Today we just call them Republicans, and try to figure out how to compromise with them.
