Several recent print and broadcast stories have concerned Al Gore and the killer buds. He discussed using pot before and I do not believe this is relevent to either the primary or general elections.
Whether you love Al or loathe him, you gotta admit this is a peculiar image:
Al and Tipper, kickin’ back at Yale, sparking up a few bowls…“Dark Side of the Moon” playing in the background…
I can’t imagine what the conversation would have been like, but you just know Al spilled the bongwater.
While it was a nifty picture you painted of Al and Tipper, I’m not sure I understand why it wouldn’t be pertinent information to know whether he was into drug use or not.
People said the same about Mr.Clinton, and he appointed someone who was for the legalization of both grass and cocaine. Which means she wasn’t about to enforce or support the laws of the United States.
I’m not saying it should be the deal breaker of whether you vote for or against someone, but I do think it is something that should be taken into consideration.
Al was a Harvard man*; god knows where the Tip took her degree.
I personally would rather have a Democrat toking up in the White House than a Republican snorting coke. You get those stimulants into their systems and it’s grind, grind, GRIND those widows and orphans.
Although he MAY have blown a few bowls down in New Haven on the weekend of The Game.
If they were legalized, she wouldn’t need to enforce them, and could get around to doing something more productive.
There are much better reasons to hate Tippy Gore… like the whole PMRC thing. Then, there are many reasons to hate Bush. Or anyone else running for office. May as well focus on how they handle current events, not stuff they smoked 20-30 years ago.

I’ve got a little black book with me poems in. I’ve got a bag, toothbrush, and a comb.
I agree with you, Uke, mary jane seems a much happier drug promoting love of fellow man. Cocaine, on the other hand, brings up images of restlessness, social climbing and greed. (Forgive me Sherlock! You know I don’t mean you.)
As a non-drug user, I don’t have much stake in this claim here, but to me it shouldn’t be the focal point of every election. Hopefully these people are more mature and responsible now.
